Six Sigma is a method of reducing variation in processes that is led by a qualified Six Sigma Black Belt.  The process follows a structured problem-solving methodology in five phases:

Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve Control

Implementing a Six Sigma project should only be accomplished once the organization has stabilized and understand its processes.  Otherwise, you risk spending resources on the wrong problems.
